I have a new Steel Legend B450M MB. I want to connect a set of daisy chained RGB fans (3) to the MB for RGB purposes. I am OK with the power hookup which is a separate set of wires. I rather control via the MB I see there are 2 extra RGB headers on the MB. One says RGB_HEADER1 and the other right next to it says ADDR_LED1, both 4 pins. So for the PCCooler fans that have a 4-way RGB splitter, which can I connect them to? The 4-way has a mark for 5V on one pin. Will either work? Next I have similar RGB fans that came with my CoolerMaster Q300P case - 2 RGB fans. Same thing....can I use one of those headers for the PCCooler fans (3) and other for the case fans RGB (2) which also has a splitter? Do I have to be careful about current draw for the RGB header at all? |
