On second thought I bet it is a driver issue, the latest drivers for that vid card that I could find are for Win 7. Windows 10 is probably using the default WDM driver due to the the hardware being not fully supported under Win 10.

That board only supports PCIe 4x and the 8600GTS supports 16x and may not be able to run above 1024x768 (or similar) unless in a board that has 16x PCIe, that is my guess as to the problem.

Hello,
Apologies this is not an intel board, it is a legacy VIA board. Does anyone know what graphics card I can use with this board. I have purchaed a few from eBay and none displayed 1080 resolution. Noteably MSI NX8600GTS which is on the compatibility list for this board. I am running windows 10 Thanks |
