After updating to 5.30, memory slots 3 and 4 are not recognized in the window. I tried to go back to the previous BIOS but it is not !!
Version 5.40 does not recognize the 3700x !! So I had to sell 3700x !! I contacted the buyer of the 3700x I sold. I have been told that it works very well on the asus motherboard. This curse board and the maker of it asrock will remain in my memory forever! I will also preach to everyone I know to never buy asrock's products! Do not do business this way It is so unfortunate and divisive. ![]() |

Just a warning to people out there thinking of upgrading to the new 5.30 bios for the x370 gaming k4 (the one that enables Ryzen 3000 support) - don't.
Once again, Asrock's software engineers have put out ANOTHER buggy bios update which has plagued me with code 12 errors ever since upgrading. And the hilarious thing is - you cant downgrade! So now we have to wait for Asrock's software engineers to fix this issue which who knows how long that will take. Asrock - this is a serious issue! Putting out bios updates riddled with bugs that you CANT downgrade from is ridiculous. You have tarnished your reputation and this will be the last Asrock product that I buy since I can no longer trust the quality of your software updates. I now have a computer which throws core errors and code 12 errors ever since updating the bios and I cant do a damn thing to fix it because Asrock is too cheap to hire decent quality assurance staff. Asrock - at least release a tool that will let your customers downgrade in the (extremely likely) event that your software engineers bugger it up! Releasing buggy bios updates with no way to go back is just idiotic. Just fyi, Ive cleared cmos, reset to defaults, tried lower memory speeds and even re-installed windows - same issues, which only popped up after the bios upgrade. So disappointed in Asrock. |
