Hello, all my rgb lights in my pc have suddenly stopped working. A day before my the lights were all stuck on blue(the software didnt change them and even in the bios rgb settings weren't working), so I reinstalled the software and flashed the rgb firmware but that didnt work. So I reset my motherboard's cmos (b450m steel legend) and that caused all the rgb lights to completely turn off.
It seems like resetting cmos has caused all the lights to turn off completely. But the issue is the same, I can't control them through the software or the bios settings. Now, when I try flashing the rgb firmware using through command prompt, it gives me an error (in the image) I even tried flashing older versions and newer versions but I get the same error every time, is something wrong with the motherboard physically that's causing this error? I've just got this motherboard 2 weeks ago. I'm planning to return it and get another motherboard if this issue doesn't get resolved. I got this motherboard mainly for the rgb lights and it's disappointing that the rgb lights don't work anymore. Things i've tried (that didn't fix the issue) 1. reinstalling polychrome sync 2. flashing the rgb firmware 3. updating bios 4. resetting cmos |
