Hi, I've searched this forum and can't find an answer that is applicable to my situation and I've been troubleshooting this for over a day.
I have the ASRock Fatal1ty X470 Gaming K4 AM4. I have a AMD Ryzen 5 2600X processor and I just got the Samsung 970 Evo 500 GB NVMe SSD. I have it in the M2_1 port on the motherboard. I also have a Nvidia RTX 2070 in the PCIE1 slot. I'm getting half the speeds I should be getting with the SSD and Crystal Disk info tells me it's running at PCIe 3.0 X2 with supported PCIe 3.0 X4. I've went through bios and could not find any way to change anything with NVMe other than putting it into raid mode which I'm not looking to do. I've installed Samsung's NVMe drivers as well as the most recent chipset drivers for the x470 and none of this has improved it. Can anyone tell me what I'm doing wrong? Thank you |
