Glad I could provide some info for you
![]() It's typically only the lower tier RAM kits that can be pushed significantly past their rated XMP. The higher end models tend to be binned to within 50mhz or so, particularly with older model kits manufactured before yields improved. |

I don't have the RGB variant but my Corsair Vengeance LPX 3600 kit absolutely
will not go past 3600 no matter what I do. Timings, voltage, nothing will make it stable. My kit is also B-Die and I have tested it on 5 different systems now all with the exact same results. I suspect Corsair pushes their RAM XMP profiles to the bleeding edge and there is little room left to get more out of them. |

Hi Team.
I have observed a strange behavior with my new System. When I start to overclock the memory with only one little setting (for ex. 1 timing 1 step lower or raising the clock to 3733) then the system fails in memtest64 right after some minutes. There is no other overclocking active. If the memory is set up with the standard XMP Profile all works fine. The memory should allow some little overclocking. Its the Rev. 4.31 with the Samsung B-Die's. I have replaced the whole memory: same Mainboard replaced: same Config: Asrock X299 Extreme4 Intel I9-9920X 32GB Corsair Vengeance RGB Pro 3600MHz (4x8) Seasonic Focus Plus 850W Gold Has anyone a idea? regards Maik |
