when all parts are working properly .. it's not much work .. dealing with faulty hardware can be real pain though.
Have you tried just running 2 or 4 sticks and see if stable? totally different chip, but my wife's 2200g would not run 4 sticks stable at any speed .. I upgraded her to a 3400g and all 4 sticks are running good at rated speed now. Could be faulty memory controller in that TR? .. or bad mem modules .. or motherboard could be the issue. ..but I'd try less sticks of memory ..read your manual to know what slots to occupy with 1,2 or 4 stick config |

So I went today to buy the old RAM modules I had before i got the gskills ripjaws. At the same time I wanted to reseat my CPU (worse mistake I did today). Now it wont read my A2 slot. Tried reseating it again then it wouldnt read my B2 slots but it would ready my A2. However that being said it didn't error me out when loading. I'll have to get back home and try to reseat the cpu (I had this problem earlier when I first bought the parts) and get it in correctly so it reads all ram slots. I'm hoping that my ram was just bad and I had to just get new modules. fingers crossed. Also i've been using this pc since june because I always had a spare one and never had enough time to deal with it until now. I always wanted a strong workstation, never knew how much work it was.

Can't say, the startup just stopped there.
The first codes are showing the progress of the startup: 01 - Power on. Reset type detection (soft/hard) 02 - AP initialization before microcode loading 03 - System Agent initialization before microcode loading 04 - PCH initialization before microcode loading 05 - OEM initialization before microcode loading 06 - Microcode loading 07 - AP initialization after microcode loading 08 - System Agent initialization after microcode loading 09 - PCH initialization after microcode loading 0A - OEM initialization after microcode loading 0B - Cache initialization Maybe you should check the correct mounting of the CPU. BTW: I cannot understand using this machine since june(!) with BSODs mostly all day... Don't you know a good dealer's garage in your area? The mainboard should be checked with known good RAM and a known good CPU, the CPU in a known good board with known good RAM, the RAM in a known good board with a known good CPU... |

Is this indicative that my cpu is bad?

So I did all that and still no update. It seemed like it was working for a the past day until tonight. The debugger is now giving a 06 code. I mean that mean its either ram or cpu right?

pre ryzen memory have memory timings not suited for amd cpus you may have to use dram ryzen calculator to find out which memory timings your ram is good for and then run those

Thanks for the reply.
This is a new build persay. I put it together in june but the BSODs have happened since the day I built it. Ive switched ram modules a couple time since then. My current configuration is 8x8 modules. I will try this later after I get off work. I use Cooler Master MLX-D36M-A20PC-T1 Masterliquid ML360 RGB AIO CPU Liquid Cooler. I will have to check at what Temp it runs again when I get home tonight. It's just very fustrating to the point where I feel like i wasted money :\ |
