Thanks for the reply. Airflow in the case is good. I've changed to the Power Saver profile in Windows 10. No doubt a better cooler could help, but I'm finding it hard to believe that out of the box, with no load and no overclocking, the CPU is this hot. There has to be a setting I'm missing somewhere... |

General:
- Optimize the airflow in the case - Change the OS power saving profile idle from 99% to a lower value Heavy load: - Get a better cooler - Reduce CPU voltage - Downclock the CPU |

I'm running a X570M Bios 1.90 with a Ryzen 3600 with stock cooler and Windows 10. I am not attempting to do any overclocking, but my idle CPU temps are close to 60C and push towards 95C under load. I've checked the CPU cooler and it is properly installed. Any suggestions on what I should could change in the BIOS to reduce high temps?
Thanks, Jim |
