Right it's to bad. I suppose wonder if blocking/disabling the WIFI in the OS while leaving the it enabled in BIOS will proive MB BT without WIFI. To bad the BT chipset on MB is BT5, better than most dongles.

I think it is because of the combined Wifi/BT hardware.
The bios should grey out BT if Wifi is disabled in my opinion. Enable both in the bios and under the OS BT should be available and you can disable/deactivate Wifi/WLAN in the connection control. I have the problem the other way round: I do not want both Wifi and BT (at least this time). I cannot enable/disable BT in the bios, only enable/disable Wifi. Under the OS, BT always is available... So i have to disable it there. |

I'm running on a x570 Steel Legend but have seen the same situation will all MBs with integrated Wifi and BT. When Wifi is disabled and BT enabled in BIOS, BT isn't detected. Is there a way to enable MB BT for OS while leaving MB Wifi disabled?
