Thank you for your reply. Your suggestion was correct - I replaced the graphics card with a newer one and I can now use UEFI mode to install my operating systems.
How can I mark this question as solved? |

Dear Badmem,
Thank you for choosing ASRock. Regarding your case, it seems you have an UEFI incompatibility device installed. Please check your graphics card if it can support UEFI. Thank you! Yours truly, ASRock TSD |

I've been trying to install Windows from a UEFI boot media. If I disable CSM the PC gives 5 long beeps and resets the CSM to enabled.
I'm using the latest UEFI firmware. I've tried Rufus and the Windows creation tool to create the USB. I've reset the UEFI settings to default. I still can't get PC to boot to UEFI mode only legacy. Any ideas on how to get UEFI boot to work? Edited by ASRock_TSD - 08 Nov 2019 at 2:45pm |
