OK, I figured this out. The problem wasn't secure boot at all - the problem is that this motherboard is extremely finicky about USB storage devices it works with. The problem is particularly bad with USB3 devices and the faster they are the less likely they seem to work.
I eventually found a slow USB2 storage device to install from that wasn't erroring out. As far as I can tell this is a firmware bug. |

Hi,
I'm trying to install CentOS on the EPYCD8. I cannot seem to disable Secure Boot bully on this board. I erased all the keys which puts it into "setup mode", but even so when I try to boot the installer ISO, it says that vmlinuz has invalid signature. The BIOS seems to be the latest: 2.30. How do I disable secure boot on this board? |
