Regarding your case, please get into the BIOS main page and check the model name.
Also, have you tried the Instant flash to update BIOS?
* When using BIOS update under Windows, please use Windows 10 RS3 or previous Windows version.

Using the file downloaded from: https://www.asrock.com/mb/Intel/Z270%20Pro4/index.asp#BIOS

I recieve a "The BIOS file does not support this model!!" Message.

Using the same page above and knowing the model of my board I was able to update the bios from V2.0 to V2.2 and V2.3. Am I missing something?
