This is a new build with a Ryzen 3900 and a Sapphire Nitro+ Vega 64 (I already had the graphics card). Windows is updated to Version 1909 OS Build 18363.535 and BIOS on the MB is updated to the latest as well. The RGB software was downloaded from the ASRock support page for the MB - File: AsrPolychromeRGBSetup(v2.0.38).

All files were downloaded from here: https://www.asrock.com/mb/AMD/X570%20Phantom%20Gaming%20X/index.asp#Download

I installed the Phantom Gaming RGB software, ran it, BIOS was updated and everything seemed to be working; was set to fire reds/yellows (the kids liked it). I then turned on the connection to Razer Chroma and proceeded to download games. After about an hour, I came back and MB RGB are solid green. I occasionally get the notice about accessing out of bounds, etc.

I turned off Razer Chroma support and tried setting the MB RGB to a different static color. Nothing seemed to work. But it would respond to different effect requests like rainbow, etc. I uninstalled the app. Went into the BIOS and was able to change the colors, but the RED was mapped to GREEN. BLUE was correct. I then restored the BIOS to the defaults.

After a bit of research, I found about loading the ROM manually. I reinstalled the app updated the ROM again with the following commands run as administrator.

cd "C:\Program Files (x86)\ASRock Utility\ASRRGBLED\Bin\"
wICPFLASHADSBv2.exe /File=nu51_3.04

The ROM updated without any issue and everything went back to working. After a bit, I connected back up to Razer Chroma. Everything was working fine until about an hour later and the MB lights switched back to solid green with all the prior issues. One thing that is different, I am able to set static colors, but the RED is SWAPPED with GREEN in the app as well.

Now, I?™ve tried uninstalling and updating the ROM with the same sequence of steps. There?™s a new issue however. The ROM won?™t update manually and I?™m not sure why. I get the following messages, even after clearing the CMOS.

Attempting to run the ASRRGBLED, it attempts to flash the ROM and gives a pop-up with this information. The LEDs on the MB flash during the attempt and then fix to static purple near the CPU and blue over the BIOS.

Title: Error 0xFFF0
This MCU is empty! Please restart this utility.

A second pop-up then appears.
Title: ASRockRGBLED
Access violation at address 00430B51 in module ?˜AsrPolychromRGME.exe?? Read of address 00000000.

I?™m looking for advice on what to try or to do next. I find the most interesting part is the RED and GREEN swapped on the RGB software interfaces, that is putting a value in for RED causes the MB RGB to turn GREEN.
