You can downgrade to 5.1 with a windows flash tool:

There is a thread (german and english posts):
https://www.jzelectronic.de/jz2/index.php
Goto Asrock Mainboards, X370 Taichi BIOS
if the link here does not work:

So I made a full disk backup and reformatted, it seems that it was the solution.

Although the bios has small regressions on small annoyances/details it seems to be stable. If you are on 5.10 my recommendation would be to just stay with that, it's better.

Hi, I'm also still on summit ridge 1700x, and used bios 5.67 very good, 5.8 and 5.99 beta all bootable.

Bit locker slow or not I don't know, you can try.

So I made the mistake of installing the bios 5.60 which can't be downgraded, I also can't risk upgrading because my CPU is Summit Ridge.

This bios is causing bitlocker (on my m.2 slot) to be delayed by about 9 seconds: the bios screen disappears, then a black screen comes for 9 seconds, then I can type my bitlocker pin(when set) and then the boot process begins.

This really sucks specially because those 9 seconds are around the same time or even more than my windows boot time.

I know I most likely "broke" my system now but anyone has any suggestion of something I can try? Thanks
