Well, it appeared to flash properly, however, still nothing from that header. Either it's defective or there is something else I am missing.

Interesting I appreciate the link.
My motherboard doesn't use that software but the Polychrome RGB software. It seems as if a similar flash tool is included with that. I'll give it a whirl. |

Sounds like a common problem that everyone has with various ASRock boards. You will need to flash the ROM.
http://forum.asrock.com/forum_posts.asp?TID=8147&title=rgb-led-app-issues Change the nu file in the command to what the number is in your folder. It will be different depending on your motherboard. Good luck with it. First time I tried it got stuck for an hour and I was worried it messed up my board permanently so I didn't attempt to try again for a couple of weeks. It eventually worked after 3 tries. I felt like I was gambling with things and could make it worst. ASRock should not have to put people through this and actually provide a downloaded executable file. |

Recently bought a Asrock b450 Fata1ity itx/ac. I went to install some RGB strips on the AMD Header, but I am getting nothing. The other parts of my setup include:
- AMD Wraith Prism cooler hooked up through USB - working fine. Controlling this with the Cooler Master software. - 5V addressable RGB header with 2 strips - working fine. In the Polychrome software, I can select the options for the AMD LED header and change things around, but nothing. I tried several 12v strips I had laying around and none are working. Tested the same strips using sata power and the light up just fine. Is there any issue with my configuration or another setting that I am missing to enable this? Thanks in advance |
