Another best RAM for gamers is Corsair Vengeance LPX. It offers all that you can wish from a classy RAM. Among all the best RAM for Ryzen 7 3800x, this one is a more powerful and flexible product. https://techdzone.com/rams/best-ram-for-ryzen-7-3800x/

I was originally going to upgrade to 64GB ... but I don't run CAD or similar programs and only do lite video editing and some gamin. For what I do, 16GB would be plenty... but the 2 sticks I am running are running everything I throw at it without a hitch .. I play a game called Hunt:Showdown that is pretty CPU intensive and real picky on system stability .. when everything else would seemingly run fine, Hunt would crash when I'd try and tweak/overclock my setup..

I run my ram at a smidge faster than it's rated speed and not one crash .. I can set it to XMP profile and it's stable ASaRock as well..

DS/SS probably means "dual-side/single-side", but I'm not sure if this means ranks or just the fact that chips are installed on single or both sides of the PCB. These are not strictly interchangeable, single rank modules can have chips on both sides. For example, Samsung b-die 8 GB sticks are single-rank, even though they are listed there as "DS".
2/4 appears to mean "works with 2 and 4 sticks". I assume this based on "2" only entries in the same column suggesting just 2 sticks work for some SKUs.

Forgive I am new to this... Doesn't "SS/DS : 2/4" mean 2 of 4 of them running has been tested?

even if you based it on the qvl only 2 sticks are tested on it because thats how am4 are suppose to run of course there are people using 4 sticks but not many of them are setting the kits on auto

take note only reason why you'll find b-die being double the price of other ICs is because of flexibility 3200-3800 on whatever CL or voltage assuming you are setting them up manually

How does that run for you? Ever think of upgrading to 64GB? Do you think it should run well with 64 GB?

Well someone coukd answer and say which ram they use and where they picked it up, if its a good valve. That is what I am looking for. Also to confirm that I can run the full 4x16GB sticks without issue ... new to Ryzen and ASRock, my old Intel system didn't have any issues running whatever I put in there that it was rated for
