Dear CalamityJames,

Greetings, this is ASRock TSD.

Regarding your question about which interface shares same signal with M.2 slots.

We have checked, if both of the M.2 slots are occupied, there will not be any interface that will be disabled.

Please refer to our specification for further information.

Thanks!

All the best,

based on specs

m.2 slot 1 only supports pcie
m.2 slot 2 supports both

youre not suppose to be worried any decent m.2 are pcie(nvme)

sata types only have a max speed of 550MB/s

Good morning!
I have an X470 Master SLI and I want to install M.2 SSD.
I have searched on Internet, seems like there is some limitation that will stop working when installed in M2_1 or M2_2. With SATA port or PCIE device
Is it true? Please tell me the answer Thank!
