Thank you!!

Not sure why or when I selected the 32bit version? But, re-installing 64bit Windows worked. Allowed me to install the drivers and then update the BIOS to 1.9 and then to 3.3? I think, now I can't remember.

If anyone else reads this. The RAM I have will clock to 2933MmHz and no higher, haven't tried too hard. Did try 3200 and it would not boot. So, at 2933 it is!

32bit Windows is limited to under 4GB's of usable memory .. you definitely should be installing the 64bit version of Windows 10

Yes, Windows is telling me there is 60gb reserved.

The BIOS indicates there?™s 64gb, 16gb per slot. I did try to activate the XMP profile. No change. I didn?™t play around with anything else to much.

When I try to do the update that it says to do before updating the BIOS, I get the ?œBuild not compatible??error.

I can?™t remember which version of Windows I installed.... let?™s assume I did click on the 32bit version, would that cause all the incompatibility issues? I?™ll check tomorrow when I get home. I?™ll install 64bit version if it isn?™t and update from there.

Thank you for responding!

Just asked a question on here myself but thought I would way in on yours as nobody else has answered so far.

The fact your system sees 2133 RAM is normal as you have to activate the XMP profile in the BIOS to get full speed (3200 in your case). But the fact it is only seeing 8GB is not - as it is only seeing one side of 1 of your 4 sticks.

The RAM you mention has a Hynix Dual Sided M-Die. These were known to be problematic with Ryzen gen 1. but I understand a lot of that has been fixed with BIOS updates.

I would recommend running a BIOS update.

Your issue would benefit from some pictures however to clarify some things.

eg how and where did you "check the RAM" to see this 60.4GB reserved?

does your BIOS see all 64GB?

If this is windows telling you, are you sure you installed 64Bit Windows? If you installed 32Bit Windows you will only see 4GB.

It could also be a windows startup config issue reserving RAM, for this you can try changing the msconfig boot configuration for windows and untick the option for windows boot to use "maximum memory"

all that said without further info from you it is a little hard to properly diagnose.

Hope this helps

Hey internet, I would greatly appreciate your help with a few things.

I'm trying to update the drivers on this new build.

X470 Master SLI/AC
AMD Ryzen 2700X
G.Skill 4 x 16gb - F4-3200C16D-32GVK (I'm now aware this isn't on the list, is this the issue?)I was buying one that was on the list, set it all down, came back the next day and this one was a "newer" model or something. I don't remember why I picked this RAM.
Radeon RX 580X 8GB
Kingston 240gb NVME

So far, nothing, and I mean nothing, is really working out for me. I used PC Partpicker for all this and it will obviously works, sorta.

After picking up a different 8gb 2133mhz RAM it posted. I was able to install Windows. Go through all that portion.

I did the Windows updates, it was connected to the internet and started this on its own?

I re-installed the originally purchased RAM and it started up again. When I check the RAM, it says 60.4gb is reserved?

Also, in trying to do any driver, chipset, etc updates, it says either they're missing a C++ 2015-2019 Distributable Package, or this is an incompatible build?

I tried to do the chipsets from AMD for this processor.

I tried the All-In 1 drivers.

Nothing is working. Very frustrated =) ANY help would be greatly appreciated.
