X99 OC Formula stopped booting

   Hi Everyone

I have an X99 OC formula and never had issues so far.
Last week I tried to boot, but no success.
Fans start for 1-2 second, CPU Led 1 blinks shortly in red, then system stops and then keeps repeating the same.
It is not the PSU, I tried a spare one.
I have tried reseting the CMOS (in several ways) and changed the battery.
I have removed everything short of the CPU, board and PSU, still no change.
What would be the next steps - test for corrupted BIOS (not sure how)? reseat the CPU? Anything else I am missing.
I obviously do not have a spare MB or CPU to test.

PS I suspect the MB is out of warrant, as it is almost 5 years old.
