Gave up waiting for a response and have sent to the official support - kinda sucks as are ASRock not monitoring the support queries here?

Tried another EVO 970 Plus with the same results - Does this need any additonal drivers to run at full speed like Intel RST or other bios settings?

I have a Z97 Extreme 6 running Bios 2.80 and when I speed test the Samsung 970 Evo Plus in the Ultra M.2. using CrystalDiskMark I get slow Read speed roughly around 2400 MB/s. If I put the same NVME into an adapter and run the test again using PCEe Slot 2 I get 3200 MB/s - the Write speed always retrurns roughly 2900 MB/s in both cases.

I have tried the following but am out of ideas:

* Tried loading UEFI defaults
* Reinstall of Windows 10 1909
* CrytstalDiskInfo reports PCIe 3.0 x4 for both supported and operating speeds
* Installed Samsung NVME drivers 3.3
* Ran the same benchmarks with ATTO HD benchmark
* Checked through the bios to see if anything is wrongly configured

Anything I have missed? TIA
