So I also have this board with a 3900X, but with a NH-D15. I moved from a Asus Strix X470-F board which I had the 3900x in for 9-10 months. While I only hit mid to high 70s in the X470, I definitely get into the mid-high 80s on this one. Some part of the difference seems to be between using the 3600 XMP profile and matching the infinity clock sets the board to use max SOC LLC with 1.2v on the SOC. Some of my recent testing has been on the 2.70 bios, which has its own issues. One of them being no longer running 1800 IF clock. After I roll back I want to see what if any tweaks might reign the temps back in.

There are some fan issues with higher than normal fan speed/noise which I posted about yesterday asking about BIOS 2.2 which is supposed to fix this.

Also I Switched from an ASUS WS X750 PRO ACE to the X570 Creator and besides the fans running faster, the CPU did run a little hotter and new SB ran a little louder, SB temperatures seem to be a little lower here though, I am getting around 40C, but SB fan was running all the way up to 6000 RPM.

I have a 3900X with Dark Rock 4 Pro cooler and it peaks at 96C, yes 96, during a stress test and that was after reapplying thermals as before that it had initially spiked to 110C and I immediately shut down the PC, luckily didn't fry anything.

While the ASUS did spike high during stress with the air cooling, it didn't get this hot.

I am hoping the new BIOS whenever released corrects some of these issues.

I recently changed my motherboard from an Asus x570 tuf gaming to a ASRock X570 creator for multiple reasons but most importantly thunderbolt 3 support. After I swapped motherboards I monitored the temps in bios and they were almost double of what they were in the Asus motherboard using the same components.

These are the bios temps:
CPU 60-64 degrees celcius
SB 63-66 degrees celcius

I'm running a AMD 3800x with a corair H100i RGB platinum water cooler. I updated the bios to the latest version (P2.10) but other than that all bios settings are stock except the XMP profile I use for my Ram (no overclocking).

I put it under a 100% CPU stress test and immediately it shot up to 81 celcius and climbed to 84c within 1 minute so I stopped the test prematurely.

I thought it was the thermal paste so I cleaned off the components and reapplied it more precisely and still the same thing.

I have a Lian Li pc011 dynamic case and have 3 intake fans and have my 2 radiator fans as exhaust (5 fans in total).

I've been searching through forums and YouTube videos and just can't find any definitive solutions to my problem. Please help ?˜¥
