3.40 looks stable with XMP profile for my RAM, so surely an improvement!

OK, I guess I'll skip that version and will wait until they fix it.

quite a few individuals have had issues with ASRock's latest batches of BIOS updates .. on my x570 Steel Legend .. the new 2.80 BIOS, I could only run XMP 3200 .. on 2.60 BIOS , I have same RAM running at 3800mhz .. plus 2.80 was missing some settings and it wouldn't load my saved profile

For now I reverted back to 3.00 and it's all stable again.

I'm using G.Skill Trident Z 32 GB 3600MHz CL16-16-16-36 RAM (F4-3600C16Q-32GTZKK) with Ryzen 9 3900X on Asrock X 570 Taichi.
See: https://www.gskill.com/specification/165/168/1536288991/F4-3600C16Q-32GTZKK-Specification With 3.00 everything was working fine when I selected XMP profile for it (3600 / 16-16-16-36). After update to 3.20, selecting the same profile started causing stability issues, with system hangs and other symptoms which some suggest are related to VSOC being underpowered. Can you please address that? |
