After getting my BIOS updated by shipping it to authorized service center, I got 4350G working with BIOS 4.40!

Then I recently updated it to 4.50 myself. No issue so far!

Thank you all for your support!

Thanks for your support.

I haven't had the chance to update the BIOS beyond the stock 4.10 version yet. Since you've reported that Bios version 4.4 locks any future updates when using 4350g, have you tried 2200g to see if bios is still accessible£

update on 4350G.

Upgraded BIOS to 4:40 (AGESA 1.2.0.0) all components ( m.2 and USB slots from CPU) now working , but i have no way to get into BIOS anymore. it just hangs on one underline. F11 boot drive choose works. Tried to short reset bios jumper with the screwdriver - nothing changed.

So i guess that was last BIOS upgrade i ever did on this board :)

Hello,
i will share my experience. i have asrock fatality ITX mainboard with B450 chipset and amd 4350G CPU.
first i had to update my bios with older ryzen and external VGA... ok, then the 4350G started correct.
becasue i ussually run windows server OS, and there was no way to get drivers to run except LAN, i had dilema to go to win10. on the end i accepted win 10 and now i face a phenomen when the PC simply turn off randomly with blinking activity lan led. it a kind of sleep, sometimes i can wake up the MB, sometimes not. It happens randomly even short after logon or during work.

i think its only a problem of BIOS where asrock has to tune up some compatibility setting. maybe it would be solved by changing of some setting in power management of bios (never sleep in win dont work), but the setting are a little too much complicated on these MB's.

however becasue i can not work with the pc and even if i am fan of asrock, i will replace the MB and go to other mark ITX B550 where the cpu is listed in supported models (and becasue of HTPC ALC1220 is included)

that is my experience. I can return the MB , so i use it (i did hope for new bios what solve all issues)... hope you will have more luck with new bios in your case.

Yes i did, and 2 more times just to be sure.

Swapping back to 2200G and everything works again - M.2 recognized, USBs working.

i did try to put old CPU with that new BIOS 4.20, just to be sure that issue is not global to all CPUs with this BIOS.

Only now i can't get into BIOS anymore... will leave it like this as everything is working will wait for next BIOS version.

did you reset BIOS to defaults? .. if you put the 2200g back in and flash back to whatever working BIOS your were using prior, do you get functionality back? ..

Looks like support was added in 4.20 BIOS, BUT...

I upgraded from 2200G to 4350G.
I have lost M.2 and few USBs - near Ethernet port ones, Ones that are on very top works fine.

When this will be fixed??

looks like no .. you need the AMD AGESA Combo-AM4 V2 1.0.8.0 update. The latest BIOS listed (4.10) is AMD AGESA Combo-AM4 PI 1.0.0.6.

Return one or the other and get compatible components

I recently purchased a new Asrock Fatal1ty B450 Gaming-ITX/ac motherboard and a 4350G cpu.

the system does not boot.

I need to update the BIOS perhaps.

My question is, how do I update it without a cpu (I do not have spare AM4 cpu lying around)

Secondly, the BIOS version 4.10 : does it support 4350G?
