Motherboard: H470M-ITX/ac
BIOS: American Megatrends ver: P1.20 date: 05/18/2020 System: Linux Mint 20 Ulyana base: Ubuntu 20.04 Kernel: 5.4.0-54-generic x86_64 bits: 64 compiler: gcc v: 9.3.0 Here's a picture of the Hardware Page of the Advanced BIOS Settings: https://drive.google.com/file/d/1RLgIsVHbYrNdZDwpGCqHEXxlqCfgxXSb/view?usp=sharing The BIOS shows: 2 temperature Sensors CPU Temp M/B Temp 3 Fan Sensors CPU Fan1 Chassis Fan1 Chassis Fan2 5 Voltage Sensors CPU Vcore Voltage PCH Voltage + 12.00V + 5.00V + 3.30V The Linux Kernel Driver (5.4.0-54 is the latest version) decodes the Super I/O Chip used on the H470M-ITX/ac as a Nuvoton nct6798. I have tried everything I could think of to try to get a datasheet or info on the nct6798. On the Nuvoton website it's like the chip doesn't exist. Here is the lm sensors report for my H470M-ITX/ac. in0: 656.00 mV (min = +0.60 V, max = +1.00 V) in1: 1.02 V (min = +0.95 V, max = +1.05 V) in2: 3.47 V (min = +0.00 V, max = +0.00 V) ALARM in3: 3.46 V (min = +3.30 V, max = +3.65 V) in4: 1.02 V (min = +0.00 V, max = +0.00 V) ALARM in5: 144.00 mV (min = +0.00 V, max = +0.00 V) ALARM in6: 128.00 mV (min = +0.00 V, max = +0.00 V) ALARM in7: 3.47 V (min = +3.30 V, max = +4.08 V) in8: 3.22 V (min = +3.14 V, max = +3.47 V) in9: 512.00 mV (min = +0.00 V, max = +0.00 V) ALARM in10: 80.00 mV (min = +0.00 V, max = +0.00 V) ALARM in11: 56.00 mV (min = +0.00 V, max = +0.00 V) ALARM in12: 1.04 V (min = +0.00 V, max = +0.00 V) ALARM in13: 152.00 mV (min = +0.00 V, max = +0.00 V) ALARM in14: 776.00 mV (min = +0.00 V, max = +0.00 V) ALARM fan1: 1105 RPM (min = 0 RPM) fan2: 1240 RPM (min = 0 RPM) fan3: 0 RPM (min = 0 RPM) fan4: 0 RPM (min = 0 RPM) fan5: 0 RPM (min = 0 RPM) fan7: 0 RPM (min = 0 RPM) SYSTIN: +111.0°C (high = +36.0°C, hyst = +35.0°C) sensor = thermistor CPUTIN: +30.0°C (high = +36.0°C, hyst = +35.0°C) sensor = thermistor AUXTIN0: +110.5°C sensor = thermistor AUXTIN1: +113.0°C sensor = thermistor AUXTIN2: +114.0°C sensor = thermistor AUXTIN3: +38.0°C (high = +36.0°C, hyst = +35.0°C) ALARM sensor = thermistor PECI Agent 0: +31.5°C (high = +36.0°C, hyst = +35.0°C) (crit = +100.0°C) in0 to in14 are the chips voltage inputs. I need to know which of those inputs are actually being used for the 5 Voltage Sensors the BIOS actually reads: CPU Vcore Voltage PCH Voltage + 12.00V + 5.00V + 3.30V The fan inputs are not a problem but if anyone has some guidance for the temperatures that would be great. Once i know how to map the inputs properly I can write a user config file to correct the way the kernel reports the sensor data. Thanks in advance for taking the time to look this request for help over! Jeff |
