Thanks for the response, I got seagate firecuda 520 1tb. It was 20 pound more than a gen 3 I was gonna get, will migrate to next build anyway. |

Storage QVLs are stupid and pointless. Buy whatever drive you want, all of them will run at max speed within what motherboard pci-e arrangement is.
Keep in mind your motherboard only supports pci-e gen 3, so firecuda will not run at its full potential. It will be limited to pci-e 3.0 speeds P.S. Unless motherboard manufacturers list ALL the SSD storage devices and assure the compatibility, the QVLs are pointless :) |

I see the seagate firecuda 520 is on storage QVL, but will it run at it's maximum speeds or should I get another m2 drive?
