By the way, I just check your SSD. Seems you are using the XPG brand from ADATA. My friend have the same board as you, and he getting problem with the RAM from XPG as well. not compatible, XMP always makes the boards crash.
Don't stray away from QVL list when you are using asrock. Sometimes it didn't support 'newer' type very well, and the BIOS update from asrock is crap... (By the way ASUS same problem too i see in their forum as well) same factory... |

Don't go with cheap NVME. That's my problem. Cheap one (KLEVV C710) is getting issue. But the expensive one (toshiba kioxia works) Refer to the QVL |

Thank you for a reply! Really, thank you!
So my M.2 is my only storage drive, it is my OS drive. From the very first boot up, I went and did a restart after looking through the Bios, and then the M.2 was gone after it restarted the very first time, with no OS installed yet. So I didn't even get a load on the GPU yet, and the M.2 wasn't there. So now, every time, I need to do a shut down, not a restart. When I restart, there is no sign of any M.2 drive in the Bios. I'm going to order a cheap M.2 as a test device and see what happens. I'm also going to try a firmware update on the M.2 and see what happens. Again, thank you! |

Did you use the M.2 as main storage (boot os) or secondary storage? Does it disappear after you restart or before you restart? My problem is my M.2 always disappear when i put workload to the GPU. Seems it losing power when GPU draws power from pcie. Drive seems still there, but crystaldiskmarkinfo can't see it. And to return it back online i need to power it off, restart also not working |

So I updated my UEFI on my ASRock B450M to version 3.60. It did not help. So to recap, if I show down the system, the next boot cycle is normal. Yet if I restart the system, it cant find the M.2 at all. It did this before I even got the OS installed, so that's why I thought a UEFI update would work. Has anyone experienced this? I'm using an AData XPG Spectrix S20G 1Tb.

Hi! I just finished a build with a B450 Steel Legends. My issue is thus far, when I restart the PC for any reason, my M.2 disappears! Yet if I do a full shut down, the next power on cycle is just fine, and everything works. It did it even when initially installing Windows. I'm going to try a UEFI update when I get back home in a few hours unless someone has a different suggestion. Thanks to anyone that can help!
