Hoping someone here can help me fix this.
My ASRock H110 Pro BTC+ won't POST with 3+ Nvidia Tesla M40 12GB cards attached. It works fine with 2 M40 cards. It also works with 2 Nvidia Geforce GPUs and 2 M40s. But as soon as I add in a 3rd M40, BIOS/UEFI doesn't POST, boot, display, etc. Not an operating system issue as the board doesn't get that far. Doesn't even get far enough to show the Dr. Debug code as it doesn't initialize a display. Seems to be hanging because I have to press and hold the power-off button on the board to power down, vs if it were in the UEFI utility I could just tap it and it would turn off. I've tried integrated graphics, external graphics, changing cards, changing risers, rotating slots, adding one card at a time, adding multiple cards at a time, using a Geforce directly in the x16 PCI-E slot then adding M40s, using only M40's, etc. Everything works by itself and with up to 2 M40s. The mobo's 2 extra Molex and 1 Sata power connector are both plugged in. I've played with BIOS settings, made sure 4G decoding is enabled, disabled unneeded devices, disabled VT-d, CSM on, CSM off, cleared CMOS via the jumper, increased PCH voltages, etc. Nothing seems to work. BIOS v1.60 (v1.10 also did not work) Intel i5-6500 CPU 32GB RAM (2x16GB) Ubit SU-103E powered risers Nvidia 1070 Nvidia 2080 Nvidia M40 x 4 EVGA 1300 G2 power supply Any suggestions or do I just need to return this and buy a different mobo£ |
