Hi,
I have a c2550d4i motherboard (still under warranty) where I attempted to install a tbs 6280 tv tuner card on the mobos pcie slot. The motherboard has 32GB ram and 240GB ssd disk with Debian OS. After spending days trying to figure out how to set up the TV tuner card on my own and failed, I finally contacted the ASRock support many times in an attempt to get the card working on this mobo. Eventually ASRock concluded that this motherboard has some limitations and the pcie slot can not set the correct speed/gen in order for the card to be detected. Since I am currently running the latest bios version of this motherboard and the ASRock is unwilling to help any further I am now stuck. Does anyone has any clue how to get an older gen pcie card to work on a motherboard with a higher gen pcie slot£ Is there a hack I can do for this to make it work£ |
