Overclock on 970 Pro3 R2.0 help

   Have just done a new build with some second hand parts.  ASRock 970 Pro 3.0 R2.0
                                                                                              FX 4100 cpu
                                                                                              H80i Water Cooler
I used to run all day @ 4.5hz on stock cooler.  Have added new mobo and cooler.  cannot seem to get any overclock apart from using X Boost.  I must be doing something wrong in bios.  Whenever I up multiplier it won't boot.  Have tried upping volts.  Any good overclocking links for this board?
