The mother board is new, the cpu is new, the house is new, the ram is new, and the nvme ssd is new. I?™ve completely replaced the old system with parts, minus the 2.5??ssd which had the OS on it. I?™ve tried booting just off the usb with no drives installed and I was stilling hitting the same issue of being stuck on the splash screen or the windows logo, and hitting f9 didn?™t seem to do anything just now

Hi Mandog,
I would try putting the motherboard into a base state, and then go from there. First would be to check your BIOS version. Even though you may have just gotten the PC doesn't mean the builder installed a current BIOS. I would use the BIOS function key to reset everything to defaults. In most cases the F9 key does that. Keep the memory at default speeds, avoid the XMP for now. You can always tweak it later. You mention replacing parts. What parts were replaced? What happened to the PC that it needed parts? |

So I?™ve upgraded a prebuilt with the B550 Pro4, and I?™m having a lot of issues but I?™ll keep it to the cmos battery not allowing my machine to post. I have a Ryzen 5 5600X, EVGA RTX 3070, 256GB SSD that came with the prebuilt, and a 1TB Gigabyte M.2 SSD with 2 sticks of 8GB 3200mHz T-Force RAM. And maybe just in case someone can fix my other issue, I wasn?™t able to get into the system from the 256GB SSD when I finished replacing parts so I bought a fresh copy of windows 10 and can?™t install, it gets stuck on the splash screen or the windows logo after selecting the 64 bit version. Any help would be a godsend.
