as for 5600G, its not same as 5000CPU, so 4.6 bios version is not enough
5.00 brings 5000G support

how does it contradicts itself?
pinnacle, raven and summit are 1000,2000 and 2000G CPUs
which means u have to go with ryzen 3000 or beter (as there are some bugs with older CPUs)

Board model: B450 Pro4
BIOS version: P4.50
CPU: Ryzen 5 5600G
RAM: 16GB DDR4

Notes:
When faced with the problem of getting no display when I tried to boot the build, I installed an Nvidia Geoforce 210, and was able to boot, but I keep having an issue where the computer literally shuts off, and reboots.

I am wondering if this is because of BIOS. Now, I want to upgrade the BIOS, but the instructions on the site is contradicting itself.

Version 4.6 says: "Supports Ryzen 5000 series CPU."

Then it says: *ASRock do NOT recommend updating this BIOS if you are going to use Pinnacle, Raven or Summit Ridge CPU on your system.

See here: https://www.asrock.com/mb/AMD/B450M%20Pro4/index.asp#BIOS

Will that mean that I shouldn't be upgrading? Do I have something wrong?
