if you have all the parts, try your luck to boot up, it won't explode, worst case is no POST, waiting for correct CPU get free from = https://www.amd.com/en/support/kb/faq/pa-100

So, I bought a B550M Steel Legend from Newegg this week and imagine my unpleasant surprise when I discovered a sticker on the board claiming it has the P1.10 bios from over a year and a half ago...
Can I even get to bios with the 5800x in order to update it? I don't have spare 3000 series laying around
