Hello,
it is not a conflicting UEFI entry, but has more to do with the way, Windows is installed. When you install Windows, always connect, only that drive, that you want Windows on, otherwise, the Windows partitions, can be scathered over the disks, when restoring Windows, or after a BIOS uopdate, it can happen the boot record is pointing to the wrong drive, and the OS is not found. When you use default BIOS settings, and press f11 during boot to get into the boot menu, when Windows is installed in GPT (UEFI) Mode, it should have Windows Boot manager in the list, that is where you windows is supposed to be. Somethimes it is best to wipe the disks,, conenct only one disk to install Windows on, and then later connect the other disk. I assume your boot drive still shows up in the BIOS>>> Advanced>> Storage Configuration. You can always fil in a support request https://event.asrock.com/tsd.asp?ln=en When using a gmail account, check your spam folder. |

Newbie question sorry. Did a windows 10 reset on a ASRock X570 Phantom Gaming 4, now when I boot goes straight to bios. Have to boot override in order to boot windows normally
After some research, could this be a possible conflicting uefi entry? How can I fix this so windows boots normally? Thanks |
