middle m2 slot is pcie 5.0
first pcie slot is pcie 5 aswell rest is either pcie 4.0 or pcie 3.0 |

Good question. I have that MB but I use the lowest slot, a PCIe 4x4, becouse it is the best to keep the NVME SSD cool. The others are too close to the GPU and or the CPU.
If you use this MB with an high end CPU be sure to check the PL1, PL2 and IccMax values in the BIOS. The default values are set as UNLIMITED and air cooling is not enough. |

According to the box, it looks like the PCie 5.0 SSD slot is in the middle M2 slot but the M2 armor cover at the top is a different color from the other ones and right above it says PcieGen 5. So which slot is actually the Gen 5 slot? I know this board has just one Gen 5 PCIe and one Gen 5 M.2 slot.
  The Gen5 M.2 slot is really in the middle here? FAST/MYSTERIOUS/UNBEATABLE and right above it says PCie Gen5 and the M.2 cover is a different color than the other 2 so that made me think the Gen5 slot is there but it isn't according to the box. |
