I don't. My 2700 cannot be used with the motherboard.
So, either I have to go for a 3000 APR or find a cheap 1000 Ryzen

b450 you can use ryzen 1000 series for the flash upgrade. You basically need a cpu supported by all versions of the bios. What cpu do you have available?

I have a B450 Pro 4 in my inventory.
However, it's not possible to upgrade it's BIOS to the latest version.
The MB came with support for Ryzen 3000 series out of the box.

I am looking an upgrade path and I am thinking to buy a Ryzen 5700G and use it with this motherboard. However, I am not sure if the CPU will be recognized. I don't have an issue to upgrade the BIOS as soon as I power on the machine, but I would have to do it with the R5000 installed.

Is it possible to do it?
