Intel has included an extra code that must be implemented in the BIOS.
Intel rule is that CPU overclocking is only allower, with the combination of Z series chipset, in combination with a K CPU.
If one or both are not present, CPU overclocking is disabled.
For the other questions it would be best to use the support form

Hello,

I plan to build a system with Asrock ITX M/B and I want to choose one between Z690M-ITX/ax and H670-ITX/ax.
I check the online manual of Asrock website and both these 2 M/B has ??OC tweaker ??function in BIOS.

1. I found Z690 has one more function ??BCLK Frequency ??in BIOS which I did not find in H670.
Does that mean I can adjust BCLK frequency? Then CPU and DRAM clock will change depend on my setting?
If yes, what is the BCLK range? For example, 90 ~ 120 MHz?

2. There is also ??CPU P-core ratio ??function in BIOS of both Z690 and H670.
Does that mean I can change the multiplier (ratio)? For example, I can change from 20 ~ 50.

The most important thing is I plan to get Intel 12500 (non-K) version. Can I use both above function?
Or which function need to go with K version CPU?
