Unfortunately, short of taking the board to an expert and having the BIOS ROM
chip removed and reflashed, the only option is either a new CPU that is compatible with the new BIOS or a new motherboard. This is why I recommend people don't update their BIOS unless they actually need to. To support a CPU upgrade, to fix an issue that the new BIOS is meant to resolve or a critical security update. Otherwise, if the system is working well, leave it be. |

You likely won't be able to revert to older BIOS, other than using extreme methods, such as desoldering the ROM chip and programming it using an external EEPROM programmer.
AsRock's BIOS support page clearly states: *** User will not able to flash previous BIOS once upgrading to this BIOS version. |

Can I perform a downgrade if I use an AMD Ryzen 3 4100 processor? |

Oh no, the bios update removed support for your CPU.
You will need to upgrade your CPU to a Ryzen CPU. Edited by Xaltar - 24 Feb 2023 at 6:10am |

The processor is an AMD A series A10-9700.
I have already tried resetting it via jumper (clearing CMOS) and by removing the battery, but it still isn't working. Versions 7 and 7.4 of the BIOS supported the same processors, and the PC started correctly with version 7. |

This morning I wanted to update the BIOS. The installed version was 3.6 and the latest version was 7.4. The version after 3.6 was 7, and in order to install 7.4 it was necessary to first install 7 as requested by the manufacturer. Once version 7 was installed, there were no problems and the PC started correctly. During the installation of version 7.4, there were no problems either, but now the PC won't start. Only the fans turn on and there is no power even to the USB ports. It's dead. Is there a solution? Thank you.
