Experiencing similar issue.
Moved SSD from M2_2 to M2_1 to gain functionality of SATA A3_0 and A3_1.
MB not recognizing SSD in M2_1.

Hello Friends!

I have a new system but a major problem:
- ASRock Z590 Pro4
- i7 10700 (non k)
- 2 cheap 8GB sticks of Crucial DDR4 2666mhz
- Samsung 980 (non Pro) NVME SSD

so. I can boot from SSD as long as i place the NVME in the M2_2 or M2_3 slot. My Mainboard wont accept my SSD in the M2_1 slot (which is declared as Hype M.2 Slot with support UP TO Gen4x4 NVMEs). My BIOS is latest (2.00).

What am I doing wrong, that the Samsung 980 wouldnt be accepted on M2_1 Slot?

Thanks a lot in advance and kind regards, Petr
