I forgot to add that I put the storage settings in the BIOS back to RAID & the system rebooted, so the drives ?œappear??to not be corrupted.

B550 Taichi
Ryzen 7 5700G
32gb RAM
2 - Samsung M.2 EVO 970 - RAID mirror
2 - WD SATA HD - RAID mirror
On board graphics
Other than RAID mostly default settings
Built 12/21
BIOS UEFI B550 Tiachi P2.0

I built this PC for general home use. No OC.

I worked on this setup a few nights ago with no problems. I came back a couple hours later to a black screen with a message something to the effect, Choose a boot device or insert boot media??.

When I rebooted the first thing I noticed was the Splash Screen had changed. I rebooted to the bios & went through all the settings & made mental notes.

After reviewing the manuals, I realized multiple bios settings had changed.
The RAID settings for both the M.2 & SATA had changed to default along with the Splash Screen on boot up.

I have run multiple deep scans with ESET & everthing comes back clean.

How does one check the bios for ?œcorruption??? Or, should I reflash to the latest.

Any input &/or thoughts appreciated

BayouBoy
