Thank you for your article. I have read through some similar topics! However, your article gave me a very special impression, unlike other forum post. I hope you continue to have valuable post like this or more to share with everyone!

Thanks for the info. I may then upgrade the BIOS. Will wait until January in case they find something in 2.03 and produce 2.04.

Yes, the ACPI errors where gone after I upgraded to BIOS 2.00.

I only have an USB Port Error on Boot but I've seen BIOS 2.02 addresses an USB compatibility issue.

I'm currently using the Ubuntu 6.2 HWE Kernel but also Kernel 5.15 was OK.

When I boot Linux 5.15.0-83 (ubuntu) I get the following errors:

kernel: [    0.309332] ACPI BIOS Error (bug): Could not resolve symbol [\_SB.PCI0.LPC0.EC0], AE_NOT_FOUND (20210730/dswload2-162)
kernel: [    0.309336] fbcon: Taking over console
kernel: [    0.309339] ACPI Error: AE_NOT_FOUND, During name lookup/catalog (20210730/psobject-220)
kernel: [    0.309341] ACPI: Skipping parse of AML opcode: Scope (0x0010)
kernel: [    0.310518] ACPI BIOS Error (bug): Failure creating named object [\_SB.PCI0.GPP0._PRW], AE_ALREADY_EXISTS (20210730/dswload2-326)
kernel: [    0.310520] ACPI Error: AE_ALREADY_EXISTS, During name lookup/catalog (20210730/psobject-220)
kernel: [    0.310523] ACPI BIOS Error (bug): Failure creating named object [\_SB.PCI0.GPP2._PRW], AE_ALREADY_EXISTS (20210730/dswload2-326)
kernel: [    0.310526] ACPI Error: AE_ALREADY_EXISTS, During name lookup/catalog (20210730/psobject-220)
kernel: [    0.310530] ACPI BIOS Error (bug): Failure creating named object [\_GPE._L08], AE_ALREADY_EXISTS (20210730/dswload2-326)
kernel: [    0.310532] ACPI Error: AE_ALREADY_EXISTS, During name lookup/catalog (20210730/psobject-220)
kernel: [    0.310533] ACPI: Skipping parse of AML opcode: Method (0x0014)
kernel: [    0.310927] ACPI: 17 ACPI AML tables successfully acquired and loaded
kernel: [    0.312125] ACPI: [Firmware Bug]: BIOS _OSI(Linux) query ignored

The System is running fine but I have a strange behavior on reboot.

If I reboot the system it only boots into the grub command prompt until I either boot from an USB disk or into Windows 11 on the same machine, and if I then reboot I get the grub boot menu again (?).

I made an EFI Firmware update to v1.29.AS01, tried a Linux 6.2 kernel, got the same errors and the system won't boot at all (but with Linux 5.15 it still does).
