Latest z790 PRO RS BIOS (v9.08) breaks QVL support

   I'm running 4 sticks of CT32G48C40U5.M16A1 for a total of 128GB at 4800MHz, which is approved in the Raptor Lake QVL for Z790 Pro RS.

This works in BIOS 4.14, which I've been using for a while. Today, I tried to upgrade to the latest BIOS for my Pro RS, 9.08. It failed to boot @ 4800. I tried both setting DDR5-4800 in the bios and forcing XMP1, nothing worked.

So is the BIOS going to be patched to fix support for QVL'd memory???
