not just a naming issue, the second intel lan cannot be controlled by the 3.10 bios( when i enable the corresponding atheros in bios ,the appropriate intel is not enabled or disabled.
So it is not just a naming issue. Anyway a few minutes ago the asrock technical stuff sent me a new bios called L3.15(just like the one in beta zone which is called L3.13-but there are the same problems with 3.13.) I will now try the L315 and inform you. I must admit they responded at once. Whether it fixes the problem or not I wish to thank AsRock. But if they have the fix, should they upload it in their site(or is it still a beta also?)

It's possible it's just a naming issue. Or does the other LAN port itself not function under the BIOS or OS? Might want to distinguish that to them. If it's just a naming issue, it probably doesn't matter much.

Thank you.
I have already done that and wait for their response. In an other thread for the same error in other motherboards they said that are working on new bios and will fix it. Any way at least they must fix the error with the lans

Might be worth it to send a support request directly to their tech support here:
If you're not on a Broadwell processor, support has advised some others (including myself) to stay on the previous version of the BIOS to avoid some bugs in the new BIOS w/ the previous processor revisions.

I have a X99 WS
Bios 3.10 has some problems 1)Collaborativeprocessor power control for the processor "11" in the group "0" are disabled due to a firmware problem. Apply to get to the computer manufacturer updated firmware. It appears in Event Viewer No problem with bios 2.10 2)AsRock must fix the LAN configuration in bios 3.10.The board has 2 Intel LANs,but in the appropriate bios page appear one Intel and one Atheros. Probably AsRock used the bios of a relevant X99 mobo and forgot to change the lans. Thank you
