Hi everyone!

Does anyone know how to determine the version of Corsair RAM that Amazon is selling? I'm planning to upgrade to 2x48GB because Asrock has updated their QVL. The transition from Intel to AMD 7000 has been quite frustrating, mostly due to my own oversight. It would be great if AM5, DDR5, and Asrock didn't have so many technological limitations.

To address the formalities, here's my current build:

AMD 7900X (updated to the latest chipset)

Asrock X670E SL BIOS 2.02

4x32GB Corsair (CMH128GX5M4B5600C40) ??Unfortunately, I mistakenly selected this model without proper filters, and it's not even on the QVL list.

NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4090 Gigabyte

1300W EVGA Gold

Corsair icue 360 AIO + 3 noctua 3000rpm + 3 corsair RGB fan

Microsoft Windows 11 Pro - 10.0.22635 N/A Build 22635

I honestly didn't expect to encounter so many technological challenges, especially since my mindset was still in the DDR4 era where everything seemed to work seamlessly. Fortunately, I'm still within the return window, so I'm considering sending back the RAM. I'd prefer to have 96GB at decent speeds rather than 128GB at 3600MHz. Hopefully, there will be an upgrade path in the future because the amount of money I've invested hasn't yielded the expected benefits. I really don't feel like OCing given the struggles people had with a 4-stick config.

I require a substantial amount of RAM for my work involving VMs, ML, and occasional gaming (not all at once, of course). To get back to the main question, how can I determine which version of the Corsair RAM Amazon is selling? Can we assume that if there are no revisions mentioned, it should be the base version?

Here are the parts I'm interested in:

CMH96GX5M2B6800C40 ver 5.53.13

CMH96GX5M2B5600C40 ver 3.53.02

CMH96GX5M2B6000C30 ver 5.53.13

Unfortunately, all the GSkill are out of stock in Canada. Lastly, is there any chance Asrock will add my part to the QVL? I see they added the 192GB variant already CMK192GX5M4B5200C38 ver 3.53.02 as well as other CMH variants.
