Ok I managed to fix the system, though I think it mostly fixed itself. First 4-5 boot had error, I tried to fiddle with memory auto xmp1 xmp2, no help... then turned in once I've found intel defaults ENABLE under CPU. Then managed to get back the raid0 setup. Then tried to ENABLE warm memory config on next boot, not sure if that helped but probably. Afterwards I didn't really change anything, except Intel Dynamic Boost ENABLE under CPU. A few more restarts, power off and turn off electricity, and then my system was finally booting. But at least like 20-40 boot tries I lost count.
Between the tries sometimes it did start to boot but it said corrupted partition. Luckily I didn't try to delete partitions and reinstall because nothing has been changed with the raid setup, but what caused this behavior I would think it was the crappy memory settings. /shrugs |

Having the same issues. To be precise it is working fine, but I don't use XMP config nor tweaking anything in the bios.
All I do is to set the Configuration of the ram to auto, set the speed to ddr5-6000 (I got vengeance ddr5 6000mhz). And the only thing makes it working is ASRock Timing Optimization disabled. But to be honest, now that I've updated to latest bios, in order to protect my 13rd gen i7, I'm having hard time booting in sine hours. Checking what is the issue, probably I have to remove all my ram again and try to recalibrate bios again with the first 2 pair ram then adding the other two. But ddr5 is a nightmare to be honest. If I can make this work I won't update my bios ever again seriously. Ohh and I lost Intel raid settings/configuration again, and can say goodbye to all my current installation and stuff, a full raid setup required again (hope not, and I can save the install with a repair on the main partition but I doubt it). BIOS Reset to default should never touch raid configuration, but this is what I have to suffer every damn time since like 25 years now LOL. |

ive been battling for about 9 months now to get this board to play nice with some Corsair Vengeance RGB DDR5 6000mhz in 2x 16GB form.
ive been updating the bios as they have released new ones but its still not 100% stable. im on 11.03 at the moment. the ram passes a memtest86 but if i run it at xmp profile 1, so what it should be set to, it will fail an OCCT ram stability test after about 30 mins. if i set to stock 4800mhz it will pass the 1hr test but still crash out of games randomly just not as frequently. im getting to the end of my tether with this setup and am at the point of about to RMA it. has anyone else had this problem also? |
