You may want to query Tech Support with this. I would guess it should work based on the fact that there is a Samsung DDR3 1333 RDIMM kit listed. RDIMMs are definitely supported on the platform and DDR3 is fairly standardized when it comes to the server market.
I would take the chance but if you are unsure and want clarification I would send a ticket to tech support.

I'm building a render node around a dual Xeon E-2670(SR0KX) with a Asrock EP2C602-4L/D16 motherboard. Now I'm looking for some memory. I've found a great deal for a Samsung M393B1K70DH0-CK0(8GB 2RX4 PC3-12800R DDR3 1600 REGISTERED-ECC) 64GB kit.
Is this memory compatible? Anyone who has build/using this combination? Any feedback is greatly appreciated! |
