I am currently running the 3.01.AS01[Beta] bios on my X670E Taichi mainboard. (with a current gen AM5 7800x3D)
On cold boot of Win11 Pro, all my Sata devices are "removable" in the system tray (and in the windows explorer tree) annoying, system seems more sluggish each time explorer or save dialogs are opened. In order to fix this, I perform a "warm" reboot of the OS. Then all sata devices appear as normal and are no longer reported as "removable" devices. All Sata ports, are not set to "hot swap" in the BIOS. Because previously enabling "thunderbolt" support, would make NVME devices show up as removable, I double checked that I have that set to "disabled". |
