sm951 boot on z97 Ext 6 +pcie 3.0 * 16

   Hi,does anyone know if there's a way to use the sm951 as a boot drive on a z97 Extreme 6 and still allow a graphics card on pcie2 to access 16* PCIE 3.0 lanes?  E.g. whilst the sm951 is supported in the ultra_m2 slot, does it work at all in the m2_2 (m2_ssd socket 3)? If yes, does it work as a boot drive in that socket?  Thanks for any help.
