So, I updated my UEFI to 2.50 and now after I tell Windows 10 to shutdown, Windows starts it shutdown routine ok, then it powers off for maybe 3 seconds. Then it starts up again. I can press the computer power button and it will shut down (kind of annoying to have to remember to do that).
I tried clearing cmos twice. In UEFI, I turned off social network checking and fast boot. I tried a couple different combinations of S4-S5 enabled and disable. I checked wake on lan is disabled. ok, well, I did n't tell you, but I upgraded my GTX 780 to a GTX 1070. System was shutting down ok with GTX 780. I don't think with the 1070 Windows has shutdown for good and not rebooted back up. Is there something in the UEFI that I am missing? |
