I generally just install APP shop then go to the drivers tab and tick everything other than BIOS and let it update, that should install absolutely everything you need. As for the BIOS, always update that manually using the "instant flash" method. Download the latest "instant flash" update file for your board and follow the instructions provided (click the medical type cross icon for instructions).

I am getting ready to build a new rig with a Gaming K6 motherboard and am wondering if I should install the Z170 motherboard disk that came with it and use its utilities to update drivers
or download and install BIOS, drivers and firmware individually to get the newest ones right off the bat.
If individual do I need to do them in a certain order and is there any on this list that I really don't need. BIOS INF ME RST 3TB Unlocker Atheros LAN VGA Audio Floppy ?? F-Stream App Charger App Shop The system is: Asrock Gaming K6 Samsung 960 EVO M.2 I5-6600K MSI GTX 1070 WD 3 TB Blue Win 10 64 bit |
