Dear Juanjo1982,
Greetings, this is ASRock TSD. This model could install Ubuntu 16.10 in UEFI mode successfully after upgrading to BIOS P1.20 So please refer below link to upgrade latest BIOS P1.20 for trying again. Thanks! All the best, ASRock TSD |

Thanks for letting us know, we will recommend 1.20 to anyone having issues until there is a new release.

Hello, I come back with good news. Thank you both for your help.
Updating your J4205 ITX firmware to version 1.20 fix the issue. Finally I'm able to boot with CSM disabled. Furthermore, with the version 1.10 I get a lot of screen freeze using the UEFI firmware and it seems that the last version fix it.

Unfortunately you'll want to contact Tech Support using http://event.asrock.com/tsd.asp . I'm a Moderator yet that access will need to be addressed by Tech Support. Please, keep me updated on whatever is determined to be causing this. |

It's a bare metal set up. I don't have any windows license to test the boot without CSM enabled. Can you try to boot Windows with the J4205 ITX and the CSM disabled? If it failed would be a good test to discard any mistake in the SO image. |
